It is our pleasure to welcome and introduce you to the Greater Detroit Association of Black Social Workers (GDABSW) website. Throughout our website, we will provide information and events that highlight the values and principles that guide our organization. We thank you and welcome your support of our efforts, which since 1967, have been to strengthen and preserve Black families, the Black community, and the creation of Black social institutions.

For over 50 years GDABSW has worked in cooperation with, supported, developed, or sponsored community welfare projects and programs which serve the interest of the Black community, and the community at large.
Your financial support will continue advocacy for and engagement in activities of social planning and social action which will work to serve the social welfare interests of individuals, agencies, and groups serving the Black community.
